Journeys of Mutual Exchange

Haiti Allies offers two trips each year to people interested in learning more about Haiti and to meet our partners and see our work in action. Trip leaders guide small groups through about a week of heart-opening and life-changing experiences.

 

On these trips, participants learn about Haitian culture, history and traditions through a variety of hands-on interactions working side-by-side with our Haitian partners and friends. Typically participants will visit:

 

• Missionaries of Charity (Mother Teresa's order) Home for the Destitute and Dying

• Missionaries of Charity Children's Home

• Cite Soleil Community School

• Gwo Jan Cultural Center located in the mountains outside of Port-au-Prince
